Šolta Island - Middle Dalmatia, Croatia

The island of Šolta is located between the islands of Brač and Drvenik Veli, just 15 km from Split in central Dalmatia. It is 19 km long, up to 4.9 km wide, with a total of 73 km of coastline. It also includes seven islands near the bay Maslinica. There is less tourist traffic than nearby island of Hvar and Brač. There are many apartments on the island of Šolta in places Stomorska, Maslenica, Nečujam and Rogač that are avaliable for you.
The coast is almost entirely rocky and jagged, but some beaches that are covered by stones or pebbles. The sea waters are clear and warm enough in the summer months. This island is especially ideal for lovers of nature and not crowded beaches who wants to enjoy in the silence of a small bay.
